You CANNOT leave this vegetarian restaurant off your list of places to visit when in the East Village. Pleasant and warm atmosphere, great service and fair prices. You can try salads, vegetarian pates, sandwiches, legumes and vegetarian Reubens. For both vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike.

It has a pleasant atmosphere, with candles and waiters who are always at your disposal for whatever you need. The food is very elaborate and as it’s in Chelsea, it has all its bio products at hand.

Candle 79

Vegetarian and vegan. Located in the elegant Upper East Side of Manhattan. It offers a daily variety of soups and fruit juices. It’s hard to decide what to eat.
The service is excellent. It’s recommended to go with a reservation and you can purchase a book with some of their recipes.

Nice place, small, with good food and hearty dishes. The appetizers are good and each dish has great imagination.
